is an aid to the recognition of bird species.

The recognition function uses the microphone of your mobile phone and presents you with a probability of identification. The algorithm is not perfect and can give overvalued probabilities (in particular, a 100% probability should not be considered exact).

Around this functionality, the app also offers:

  • A wiki featuring approximately 150 species of birds with descriptions, photos, habitat information, rarity status, nesting dates, and more.
  • A species calendar indicating breeding months.
  • A photo gallery divided into "Favorites" and "History" (your observations).
  • Your own collection card with access to cloud-based photos (internet connection required).
  • A list of currently breeding bird species.
